Many years ago I had to learn how to relax. I used to have high anxiety and I did not know how to control it. My body was telling me that something was wrong. I used to be the sort of person that expected a lot from myself, especially as a Mother. I was also a terrible worrier. Sometimes we can ignore that our body is using up so much energy when we become stressed and if we ignore it, our body will let us know. It let me know because I started to have Panic attacks. I saw my doctor and became aware that something had to change for me. I decided to go to relaxation classes and it was there that I learned how important it is to be aware of tension we hold in our bodies, because if we become aware we can learn to relax our muscles. I used to go to bed with ear plugs in listening to restful music too. I have learned the value of relaxation. It is very important for everyone to learn this.
